Selected delivered workflows
The problem
Automated manual reporting and document workflows that sat between ad platforms, Google Sheets, website content, and generated outputs. The work includes Apps Script-style reporting automation and Python scripts for fetching/parsing CMS-style content and generating PDFs.
The existing workflow
Teams used shared Sheets as a working interface and repeated manual report or document preparation. The useful first step was to automate the recurring operation while keeping the familiar control surface.

Sources
Google Sheets, ad reporting rows, Google APIs, and CMS-style content act as lightweight workflow inputs.

Automation
Apps Script and Python jobs fetch, parse, transform, and refresh the operational outputs.

Generated outputs
Cleaned Sheets rows and document/PDF outputs are produced from the same controlled workflow.

Rerun checks
Source counts, generated files, stale rows, and duplicate outputs are checked across reruns.
Key engineering decisions
Keep the familiar interface
Sheets remained the team's working layer where that was sufficient. A warehouse or custom app was not a prerequisite for automating a recurring task.
Separate the examples
Ads-to-Sheets refresh and document/PDF generation were separate engagements with different inputs and checks. They are presented as related workflow patterns, not a single platform.
Difficult problems
- Manual reporting and document creation created repeatable operational work
- Generated outputs could look correct while hiding stale source data
- Reruns needed to avoid duplicate generated documents or stale sheet rows
- Access settings and source content details needed to stay controlled
Work contributed
- Built Apps Script-centered reporting and document-generation workflows.
- Used Sheet configuration and API/script inputs to control repeatable outputs.
- Kept operational setup and validation distinct from presentation.
Validation
- Reviewed source periods, output shape, and reporting totals for the relevant workflow.
- Checked configuration and repeat execution against the intended Sheet/report behavior.
- Validated generated outputs against the input Sheet or source report.

- Automated recurring steps in lightweight reporting and document workflows.
- Kept configuration and outputs accessible through familiar tools.
- Provided a practical starting point without requiring a full warehouse.
