I connect the pieces behind a useful system.

I’m Ahmad Humayun, a freelance data engineering and automation consultant based in Lahore, Pakistan, working with teams worldwide.

The recurring problem in my work is familiar: data scattered across tools, a report assembled by hand, an API that behaves unpredictably, or a backend workflow that needs to become dependable. I connect the sources, validate and model the inputs, automate the workflow, and expose an output people can use.

Marketing reporting is a substantial part of that work: advertising API ingestion, BigQuery modeling, Dataform transformations, reconciliation, and campaign analysis. My experience also includes payment/subscription workflows, application integrations, and AWS connected-device backends and telemetry.

From a focused delivery to a deeper build

Some engagements start with one automated report or a broken sync. Others involve warehouse architecture, historical recovery, or ongoing backend engineering. I work around the useful first outcome and choose tools proportionately to the problem.

My contribution, clearly described

My portfolio includes both individual freelance deliveries and engineering within existing product teams. Each case describes my role and the work I contributed. A platform’s wider capabilities are not a claim that I built the entire product alone.

Applied AI is a supporting capability: structured media analysis and authenticated access to prepared data or existing APIs. I can prepare reporting definitions and connect a selected Claude or ChatGPT interface, so the conversation uses the same data layer as the business.
